Volleyball!

Today, we had a special Rank:  Volleyball!  One of our counselors, Olivia, is a superstar at this sport and even plays at her high school.  Our campers learned a LOT from her today!

All of the campers who went to Volleyball Rank learned the proper way to hold their hands when bumping the ball.  I thought you were supposed to lace your fingers, but the campers quickly showed me the correct way!

The campers did many drills so that they could learn how to hit the ball in all possible scenarios that could come up in a volleyball game.  They loved being able to put these skills to the test when they got into big circles and passed the ball around with other campers!

Volleyball is pretty intense, but it can be silly too!  Check out this picture of our campers playing around and pretending to SPIKE an invisible volleyball!

These campers learned so much about volleyball today, thanks to our counselors who are so passionate about the sports they play!  If YOUR camper is passionate about an activity, we want to hear about it!
