Week 6 of Camp Rising Sun!!

Hello and Happy MONDAY from all of us at Camp Rising Sun!  It has been an absolutely fantastic day!

This morning, we kicked off Week 6 with a bang!  Every morning, we have an insane DANCE PARTY right before assembly.  Below is a picture of just a few of the crazy counselors (in blue) getting their groove on!  I know I speak for every one of them when I say THANK YOU for choosing Camp Rising Sun.  Because of you, we get to hang out with the coolest kids in the world!

After assembly, I spent some time enjoying the warm weather during Morning Ranks!  Our campers are making sure to drink lots and LOTS of water so that they can still play in all of this heat!

During Ranks, campers get the option to go to any activity they choose.  This includes, but is absolutely NOT limited to, Backyard Games, Target Sports, and Tennis!  Other options that our campers love include Creative Arts, Soccer, Basketball, Football, Performing Arts, Fitness, Fossil Hunt, and Volleyball.

Sometimes, we have "special activities" for your camper to enjoy.  In the past, we have had Bible Study and Ping Pong, just to name a couple.  If your camper has a special interest that would make a fun Rank, we'd love to hear about it!

This is our famous Gaga Pit - kids love to get messy and play Gaga Ball in here!

These young campers are going on a "Camp Tour" to get familiar with all of the different areas and activities.

Target Sports is one of our most popular Ranks!!

This camper is working on mastering TENNIS!  It is so much fun!
