Walking in a Holiday Wonderland

Assembly was filled with amazing costumes this morning representing all of the various yearly holidays. The most creative award would definitely have to go to our "Ghost of Christmas Presents" or our counselor Coover's "Redneck Christmas Tree". Ms. Claus and a few Santas also joined us in today's costume extravaganza. In the spirit of Halloween, we were visited by Harry Potter and Hermione. (Pretty appropriate with the new movie coming out on Friday!) We also had outfits including a beautiful bride and a vampire. A Native American was even hanging around for Thanksgiving. The Mauis performed yet another cheer to the song "Firework" in order to represent Fourth of July. Also, Fred and our favorite Elf visited yet again with an awesome surprise. They called Santa!! Even though Santa really wants to visit camp, he is having a hard time flying because Rudolph gained so much weight. We decided to help by hiring a trainer to give Rudolph an intense workout in order to lose a few pounds. Through singing "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer", we were able to motivate Rudolph enough for him to get in perfect shape. Meaning.....Santa will be coming later this week! I'll make sure to keep you all posted.
