Happy Monday everyone! To start off a great week....two of our new visitors flew into assembly to deliver an important message. With the help of Pilot Barbie, Ken and Barbie departed their plane in order to meet all of their new Rising Sun friends. However, to their disappointment, they were not in the town where they had originally planned to travel to. Instead of "Sunnyville", they had landed in Cary, North Carolina. Hoping to find what they were looking for at Rising Sun Day Camp, they realized some things were very different from Sunnyville. With help from a counselor, they discovered recyclable materials in the trashcan. Ken and Barbie were very upset that we as a camp were making particular choices that could put our environment in danger. With this in mind, they promised to help us learn new things throughout the week about making smart choices for our planet. Keep an eye out for more about Rising Sun's efforts to go GREEN! Also, shout outs to the Mauis for winning the spirit stick today. You guys deserved it!
