Christmas at camp?? This might just come true by the looks of our assembly this morning. We were lucky enough to be visited by a real life elf who delivered a package to Rising Sun. After a camper was picked from the crowd to unwrap the surprise... we discovered our new friend, Fred. With help from our translator, the elf, we found out that Fred was here this week to teach us about friendship. He even wants to make some friends himself through building toys in Creative Arts and playing sports in RANKS. Make sure to ask your camper if they were able to play with Fred today! Even more importantly, he informed us that he personally knows the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, and even Mr. Groundhog. All of Fred's famous friends plan to visit us at camp this week. Of course, the crowd begged Fred for a visit from Santa. Unfortunately, Santa obviously is on a VERY busy schedule making toys for Christmas! However, Fred promised to try his best to help Santa travel to Rising Sun. We might e
ven call Santa on his cellular polar device tomorrow! I'll make sure to keep you updated throughout the week on all of our holiday surprises! Also, the 5th session of camp started off right with an intense amount of energy for our spirit stick. There was spirit sweat everywhere! After a long cheering war, the Mauis were this week's first winners. Way to go Mauis...keep it up!
