After some intense dance partying, we were lucky enough to celebrate two campers' birthdays today during assembly. Meaning.... we were able to witness our FIRST pies in the face of the entire summer! If you weren't aware, every time a camper has a summer birthday, they are able to pie a counselor of their choice in the face. Sometimes the pies can be a little gross, but this morning our picked counselors Jason and Michael got lucky with the traditional shaving cream pie.
Later on during assembly, campers discovered a secret from our royal friend the Knight. He shared with us that he actually fancies the princess that the prince is looking for as well. We will have to find out who will win the princess's heart later this week!
Don't forget to dress up tomorrow for Wacky Wednesday! This week for our "Knight's Tale" theme, campers can wear anything from knights or princess costumes to mythical creatures such as dragons!
