Last Friday I witnessed an intense Lacrosse tournament taking place down in Central Park. Our counselor Derek was working hard to not only monitor the games, but also teach campers some things about the sport in order to improve their skills. It was great to see all of the players using team work and good sportsmanship throughout the tournament. They even showed impressive creativity with their brainstormed team names. I know they were having an awesome time! In the end, the Hopkins team won the tournament during the finals against the Sith Monsters with a score of 2 to 1.
