This afternoon, the CILTs hosted a Bake Sale benefiting We Build People. Thanks to all who came out!
We Build People is a community-wide effort to raise funds for children, teens, families, and adults who need our Y. Without these funds, several children would not be able to experience all the fun and love that YMCA Summer Camps have to offer. This year, 70 children were sent to camp on scholarship thanks to We Build People.
The CILTs had a blast selling the brownies, carrot cake, and cookies that they had made for a wonderful cause. We Build People impacts all of us, whether we know it or not, because it helps amazing campers and families have access to our programs.
We greatly appreciate all of your contributions and support! If you missed the Bake Sale, don't worry - we'll be having another one next Thursday as well!
